Day in the Countryside: Sunshine and Horses

Teachers, students and staff from Celec had our traditional countryside day last August.

We went to a countryside house near the City where we enjoyed an outdoor day in a breathtaking place. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, we ate typical “empanadas”, asado and a special dessert. During the afternoon, some students did horse-back riding around the field, others went for a walk and the rest sunbathed, talked and drank “mate”.

Celec`s Course for professors that teach Spanish

Celec has given a Specialization Course for Brazilian professors that teach the Spanish language. The Program “El Español y sus variedades dialectales” (Spanish and it´s dialectic variations) was given last july and it had very positive results.

SATC Special Program

On July, Celec has developed a Special Program for students and professors from a Technical School in Criciuma, Brazil: Escola técnica SATC.

Besides learning Spanish at our school (general Spanish plus Specific Spanish: secretarial field) this program included:

-Historic heritage city tour

-Visit to the General Consulate of Brasil of Cordoba City, where the consul herself welcomed the group

-Visit to the central plant of “La Voz del Interior”, important newspaper of Cordoba city

-Visit to Alta Gracia City (Picture) Jesuit Estancia and Museum of “Ernesto Che Guevara”

- Visit to “Cámara de Industriales Metalurgicos de Cordoba”

-Tango classes

-Talk-Debate”MERCOSUR at present”, in charge of Mrs. Montenegro, Licensed in International Relations.
